These miniatures come in a simple cardboard box featuring the Wanderers Emporium logo. Inside the Essential Pack box, you’ll find a blister pack made of pressed cardboard containing the Flat Hardpressed TTRPG Minis and a ziplock plastic bag with 12 transparent plastic bases to help the miniatures stand upright.
The Essential Pack includes 42 miniatures featuring monsters, heroes, objects, and tokens, all printed on high-quality, 2mm thick pressed cardboard. All the miniatures are illustrated on both sides, showcasing both the front and back of the characters. The 42 pieces are divided into 6 tokens, 7 objects, and 29 creatures, including heroes and monsters of various sizes. It’s truly difficult to pick a favourite, but the armoured female adventurer is definitely one I really like.
Additionally, the illustrations are stunning and incredibly evocative, perfect for immersing players in the heat of the action. They truly enhance the product and its impact on the gaming table.

I decided to conclude this review of the Essential Pack by Wanderers Emporium with a brief trip back to the 90s. Back then, many RPGs were sold in boxes containing similar miniatures, ideal for easy transport without compromising the tabletop gaming experience. However, let’s be clear, these are of far superior quality.
Additionally, cardboard miniatures are incredibly affordable, making them a budget-friendly option for everyone.
Furthermore, the packaging is almost entirely made of cardboard, except for the ziplock bag, making this product rather climate-friendly.
