Tome 4: Corruption’s Echo [ Drakonia ] | Review

Aug 12, 2025 | reviews

Before starting this review of Tome 4: Corruption’s Echo for the Drakonia setting, I want to thank Gamers Hunter Edizioni for providing us with a physical copy of the manual.

If after reading this review you’d like to purchase Corruption’s Echo, you can find it on the Gamers Hunter Edizioni store. The bundle containing the digital version of the book, its physical version, and the PDF of the rulebook costs 20 euros, while the digital version of this manual alone costs 7 euros.

I also want to remind you that on our website you can find the review of the Drakonia game rules.

Aesthetics Review of Tome 4: Corruption’s Echo

This volume maintains the layout and the font of its predecessors, which are both suitable and easy to read.

The cover was designed by Livia De Simone and features a young woman with golden hair radiating flames of power. Two other well-known artists for this game are Jessica Prando and Fabio Porfidia. The latter primarily designed the maps included in the volume, all of which are of the highest quality. Among the other artists, Angela Marconetti also provided some of the internal illustrations.

The number of illustrations is appropriate for the length of the manual, which counts 100 pages. Unfortunately, the images don’t always blend well with the accompanying text, but the visual impact remains remarkable.

Time to Act

Exploration and quiet moments are over; in this volume, action is the key. The kingdom of Drakonia is threatened by a dark power, and its source must be found and stopped. The War Council has convened and decided that all races must unite and form a common front.

So the expedition that will include our heroes will delve into the heart of the Whispering Forest, in what were once the lands of the Elves. The evil power of Vharcan has transformed these places into a realm of hatred and terror. This dark power is preventing the Elves from answering the Council’s call. The fate of these lands lies in the hands of the heroes.

In the final pages of the volume, as in the previous ones, a new, crucial character in the story is introduced, including a detailed description.

Conclusions of the Review of Tome 4: Corruption’s Echo of Drakonia

I’ll conclude this review by saying that Corruption’s Echo is a good volume with a compelling plot that aptly follows up on the previous volume. The graphics remain excellent. I particularly appreciated the maps, which do full justice to the locations described.

I recommend this manual to fans of the Drakonia saga, now in its fourth volume, but also to fans of the fantasy genre in general. What does the fifth volume have in store for us?

If you enjoyed this review of Tome 4: Corruption’s Echo of Drakonia, stay tuned for more manuals for this TTRPG!
